Volunteer
There are many opportunities for volunteers within the Therapeutic Foster Care Program (TFC) and the Community Based Services Program.
The TFC Program and Community Based Program are always in need of volunteers who can assist in a variety of ways, including but not limited to planning and coordination of annual foster family events, mentoring and program support. Mentors provide support to an identified client, meeting with that client on a regular basis and supporting their emotional, behavioral and educational progress. If you are interested in volunteering with either program, (click here). You can also call 703 817-9890 for more information on volunteering. The Community Based Program is also always in need of volunteers in a variety of capacities. Mentors at this program provide support to an identified client, meeting with that client on a regular basis and supporting their emotional, behavioral and educational progress. Skilled Support Volunteers provide crucial maintenance and repair services for the supervised visitation house, helping to repair things as they break or bettering the home itself to continue to provide a welcoming environment for the children.
