Mentoring is provided by staff who are experienced with at-risk youth, 4-21 years of age. Mentors serve as supportive positive role models for youth who may exhibit emotional or social behavioral difficulties which may interfere with their ability to interact appropriately within the community. Services may include: advocacy, role modeling, education/vocational/career planning, conflict resolution, behavior modification, independent living/life skills and social/recreational activities. Mentors create client specific treatment plans based on needs indentified by the client’s case manager and treatment team.
