Foster Parent Support

Foster Parent Support

Every parent needs tips and tricks at some point. Please see below for some of our favorite resources when you need help with something your child is going through!
Our foster parents are our greatest resource; we couldn’t do the work we do without them! We know that every child is different, and requires different training and skills. At FCS, we hold training sessions or support groups every month, and our case managers provide additional training to fit the needs of each child, but we know some parents also like to research online. To that end, we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite training sites, support sites, and online articles to help them along. As a foster parent, if you have any questions, remember you can always reach out to your case manager for more information and training help!
Remember to call our on-call number at 540-454-3056 if you are in need of urgent after-hours support!
